DESCRIPTION

In the heart of Knightsbridge, the elegant Ovington Square garden is protected by the 1851 Kensington Improvement Act. The stucco houses which smartly line the perimeter date to 1840. Prior to this in the early 1700s, the space was an open field where the rich earth was ideal to grow produce for London.
